Mr. Hertlein has more than 20 years of experience in the development of nondestructive test (NDT) methods and the application of NDT to concrete structures, ranging from deep foundations, bridges, and high-rise buildings to large dams and tall chimneys. He has worked on projects all over the United States and Europe, including the European Channel Tunnel and construction of the French TGV (Train de Grand Vitesse) tracks, and has performed NDT on structures and deep foundations in Canada, North Africa, the Far East, and South America.
